More than two hundred rescuers are extinguishing the fire for the second day after the Russian attack on the Kyiv region

249 rescuers, 98 units of equipment and four fire engines are extinguishing a fire in the Kyiv region after a Russian attack, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As of June 13, the fire at an industrial enterprise in Kyiv has not yet been extinguished.

On the night of June 11-12, Russia launched a combined missile-drone attack on Kyiv and the region. The fire that broke out as a result of an attack at one of the enterprises near the capital cannot be extinguished for the second day.

As of the afternoon of June 13, according to rescuers, the fire at an industrial enterprise in Kyiv has not yet been extinguished. It arose due to the fall of fragments of a downed enemy attack drone.

The fire has been extinguished for the second day

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports that liquidation of a fire at an industrial enterprise, which occurred as a result of Russia’s armed aggression, is ongoing in the Kyiv region.

249 rescuers, 98 units of equipment, four fire engines are working at the site, the press service of the department noted.

Early in the morning on June 12, Russia attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones. Kyiv region became the central target. The Russian military carried out a combined attack on the capital, using several types of weapons. The enemy used Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers, attack UAVs and ballistics.

On the night of June 12, a powerful thunderstorm covered the Kyiv region. The residents of the region watched the lightning and thunder just during the attack of the Russians, when they launched “Shakhed” and rockets at the capital.

To improve the results, the Russians hoped to launch an attack under cover of bad weather conditions. Mykhailo Shamanov, the spokesman of the Kyiv City Military Administration, said that thanks to the professionalism of the Air Defense Forces, all targets over Kyiv were destroyed, and the Russians’ “non-standard tactics” failed.
