Mother and two young children killed in Russian attack near Fastiv

A woman and her two children—a young boy and a girl—were killed in a Russian attack on the Kyiv region on the evening of September 19.

According to the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, three families with children were near a house that evening. The woman took her two little ones inside to put them to bed.

An explosion occurred at that very moment.

The mother and her two children were killed by the strike. The building’s roof and inter-floor structures were damaged, and a fire broke out, which was subsequently extinguished by emergency responders.

Private homes and a vehicle in the area were damaged in the attack. A fire started in one of the damaged houses but has since been extinguished.

The injured have been hospitalized, and emergency crews are dealing with the aftermath of the attack.
