Near Odessa, Russians damaged energy and port infrastructure

In the Odessa region, Russians attacked Izmail on the night of October 22.

As a result of the shelling, it is known that energy and port infrastructure was damaged, the Izmail district military administration reports.

Explosions were heard in Izmail at night. On the eve, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recorded drones in the direction of the Odessa region. After the explosions, the city lost power.

“As a result of the air attack on the city of Izmail, energy and port infrastructure was damaged. The city’s power supply is gradually being restored,” the official message says.

The operational headquarters and all other services of the district are working to eliminate the consequences.

“All critical infrastructure is working. Fortunately, there were no casualties. The fires were quickly extinguished,” the district military administration added.
