Night attack of drones in Odesa: 290 apartments were damaged by the blast wave

As a result of the drone attack in Odesa on the night of June 10, 290 apartments in 11 buildings were damaged by the explosive wave, the press service of the city council reports.

“On June 10, throughout the day, communal services eliminated the consequences: they removed emergency facade elements, window frames, removed glass, emergency trees, covered windows with film, removed garbage,” says the city council.

In addition, it is known that 15 units of equipment and more than 100 employees were involved in the work. Street lighting has been restored by the forces of “City Light”, and a number of supports still need to be replaced. Municipal enterprise “City Green Trust” removed 15 emergency trees. Employees of the municipal service worked on the facades, removing destroyed windows, frames, and balcony grills, the press service clarified.

During the night of June 10, 2023, the armed forces of the Russian Federation carried out an air attack with missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles on Odesa and populated areas of the region. Previously, as a result of the shelling of a residential area of ​​Odessa, three people were killed and 26 were injured multiple times, including 2 children – 5 and 17 years old, they were hospitalized. 3 high-rise buildings, a school, a kindergarten and cars parked next to the houses were significantly destroyed.

“Due to an attack on a village on the Black Sea coast in the Bilhorod-Dniester region, 6 people were injured, including 2 children – 5 and 12 years old. 7 private houses were destroyed and 15 were damaged,” the Prosecutor General’s Office said.
