Night attack on Kyiv injures two people

On the night of June 28, 2026, Russia launched an attack on Kyiv using ballistic missiles. As a result of this attack, there are two injured people in the city, a man and a woman. Both Kyiv residents were hospitalized in a moderate condition.

The patients were diagnosed with mine-explosive injuries, fractures, and soft tissue injuries. Currently, doctors are providing the victims with all necessary medical care. The attack began at 18:00 on June 27, when the Russians launched two Zircon/Onyx anti-ship missiles from the Kursk region.

As a result of the shelling, a warhead of a missile was found in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv, which did not detonate during the fall. Residents of the house reported a dangerous find, thanks to which the police were able to quickly evacuate people and fence off the area.

Police and rescuers worked to remove the warhead of the missile, which was dug out of the ground. After that, the dangerous object was transported for destruction at the landfill.
