Night attack on Ukraine: consequences in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Kryvyi Rih
The Russians are once again terrorizing the peaceful cities of Ukraine. On the night of June 13, they carried out another massive air attack, hitting Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kryvyi Rih.
As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, earlier the Russians used 14 Kh-101/555 cruise missiles, 10 of which were destroyed by air defense. The airstrike also carried out four “Shahids”, one of them was destroyed by the defenders of Ukraine.
The number of injured as a result of the Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih has increased to 36 people.
This was announced by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Serhii Lysak.
It is also known about 11 dead.
The search and rescue operation was completed at noon on June 13. Currently, the construction is being dismantled.
“After the examinations, we will understand whether it is possible to restore the mutilated high-rise building. Meanwhile, in the nearby buildings, broken windows are covered with film and wooden boards. Everyone is provided with food and medical assistance,” said Lysak.
He noted that rescuers, utility workers and volunteers are working at the site. International charitable organizations launched humanitarian missions. There is also a point where applications for damaged property are accepted.
On June 14, Kryvyi Rih declared a day of mourning. The head of the regional military administration said that the families of the victims can count on financial assistance from the region in the amount of 300,000 hryvnias.
About the attack
On the night of June 13, the Russian occupying forces launched a missile attack on Kryvyi Rih, hitting the residential sector. Three cruise missiles were shot down by Ukrainian fighters from the “East” Air Command, but there are also arrivals. In particular, the Russians mutilated a five-story building.
As a result of the attack, the first to fifth floors of the two entrances of the building caught fire, and parked cars burned. The total area of the fire was 700 m². High-rise and private buildings, a private enterprise, an automobile enterprise, and cars were significantly destroyed.
Rockets also hit a warehouse of bottled water. “About 25 people worked here around the clock. Water was transported to different parts of Ukraine, recently trucks of water were sent from here to Kherson. Seven dead citizens were found here, the youngest of them was 17 years old. Three people from here are now in hospitals. At the moment, 11 people have died in Kryvyi Rih,” said the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko.
Kyiv. According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, the Russians used Kh-101/555 cruise missiles launched by Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Caspian Sea region to attack Kyiv.
“All enemy targets in the airspace around Kyiv were identified and successfully destroyed by the forces and means of air defense,” said Serhiy Popko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.
Kharkiv. According to the chairman of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov, the Russians hit the objects of the civil infrastructure of Kharkiv with “shahedas”.
“Previously, in one case, a utility enterprise in the Kyiv district was damaged, and in another case, a warehouse in Saltivsk, where a fire broke out as a result of an explosion,” he said.

As a result of the Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih, almost 400 apartments in more than 70 residential buildings were damaged.
The head of the Kryvyi Rih military administration, Oleksandr Vilkul, reported this: “In Kryvyi Rih, six rockets hit five civilian objects that have nothing to do with the military. The enemy struck a five-story residential building, and the strikes also damaged a transport company, a warehouse where ordinary water and various drinks were stored, other civilian objects. More than 70 residential buildings were also damaged. Among them – 7 nine-story buildings, 8 four-story buildings, 55 five-story buildings.”
According to him, about 400 apartments were damaged, more than 1,300 windows in apartments and entrances were broken from the explosions. The roofs of 10 houses were damaged.
In addition, three schools, three buildings of two more educational institutions – Pedagogical University and professional technical school No. 45, a dormitory were damaged.
To help people, an operational headquarters was immediately deployed in front of the destroyed building. Three hot meals were provided. Vilkul noted that people could register for resettlement, get help in processing documents about damaged property, specialists of the “Visa” center helped to get administrative services for restoring documents and others.
In addition, employees of city and district social welfare services work in the headquarters, they accept applications for financial assistance from the city.
Applications are also accepted in the social welfare offices of other districts. More than 440 such applications for assistance from the city budget have already been processed.
“The amount of financial assistance that will be allocated by the city will depend in each specific case on the damages that will be established by special district commissions,” Vilkul said.
Also, according to him, places have been prepared for temporary accommodation of victims with free food. So far, no such applications have been received.
Necessary building materials from the material reserve of the city were promptly delivered to the site. 40 teams of utility workers and a lot of utility equipment are involved in the work, the head of the city military administration emphasized.
