Night drone attack on Kyiv: debris damaged buildings, cars and water pipes

On the night of July 7, Kyiv was subjected to another attack by Russian drones. According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, debris from downed UAVs caused damage in two districts of the capital.

In the Desnyanskyi district, debris from an enemy drone fell on an area with a non-residential building, damaging windows. At the time of the report, information about the victims and the extent of the damage was being clarified.

Approximately 15 minutes later, the Kyiv city military administration reported another incident — this time in the Solomyanskyi district. There, debris from a downed UAV damaged a car and a water pipe. There was no fire or casualties. Emergency services are working at the scene.

Both incidents are the result of air defense operations, which successfully destroyed the Russian drones, but parts of the downed devices fell on civilian infrastructure.

These events once again highlight the ongoing threat to residents of the capital, even if air defenses are successful. Falling debris can damage infrastructure and property, creating additional risks to life and health. It is important to remain vigilant, heed alarms, and promptly report any suspicious objects to emergency response services.
