Night drone attack on Poltava: 26 houses damaged in Rybtsy

On the night of May 27-28, Poltava was attacked by drones. After one of the drones was shot down at around 03:00, debris fell on a private estate in the Rybtsy microdistrict of Kyiv district in the north-west of the city, causing numerous destruction of residential buildings.

The air raid alert in the region sounded three times: from 20:22 to 00:12, from 01:27 to 02:22 and from 03:13 to 04:04.

The epicenter of the fall fell on private estates, where many families with children live. Serious injuries and fires were avoided, but several people received cuts from broken glass and were recommended to undergo a medical examination.

According to the results of the yard inspection conducted in the afternoon, damage was recorded in 26 private residential buildings and outbuildings. One of the residential buildings was declared unusable due to significant damage.

According to preliminary estimates, in residential buildings the following were damaged: 96 windows; 15 roofs and 10 ceilings; 16 doors (of which 9 were entrance and 7 were interior); 8 walls and floors; 2 fences.

In outbuildings, 29 windows were additionally broken, 10 doors, 5 roofs, 3 ceilings and 3 walls were damaged.
