According to him, during the day, periodic artillery shelling of Vugledar took place in the Volnovasky direction – no information about the victims was received.
“Numerous shelling of the Marinsk community, especially Maryinka, was recorded in the Donetsk direction. In the Horlivsk direction, 1 house was damaged in Toretsk. Shelling also took place near Rozdolivka, Yakovlivka, and Bakhmutsky Soledar community.

“We thoroughly document all Russian crimes!” – adds the head of the region.
The Russians dismantled the Mariupol Drama Theater. It was a special place for every resident of Mariupol. A place where love was born, where children got to know a fairy tale, and elderly people were happy to be around.
Theater for Mariupol is more than a theater. This is the center of gravity. On March 16, the Russian army delivered a powerful blow to every Mariupol citizen. And these days, he tears pieces of our heart.
Social media feeds are full of farewell words, words of sadness and pain. We have collected some of these messages.
Goodbye, theater…
Eva Belchenko, director of the Startup Development Center 1991
To be honest, the Mariupol Drama Theater has such an important place in the mind of every Mariupol resident that it is hard to imagine:
– these are children’s holidays
– these are school and university graduations
– this is local art and concerts
is the heart of the city
– this is every holiday
– these are summer evenings
– these are autumn walks
– is the most beautiful decoration in winter
– these are the first outings for a run in the spring.
You can talk endlessly about what this place means to a Mariupol resident.
But everyone already understands how important this place is.
But no one is surprised by the demolition, because everyone already knows that mocking humanity is the aggressor’s pleasure.

Someone really didn’t like my post about theater yesterday. And he disappeared from my page. Well, there is no post about the theater and there is no theater. Apparently, this is the “logic”.
On February 24, someone really didn’t like my city. And he was almost killed, occupied and now continues to be erased from the map of Ukraine with tractors and bulldozers.
This “someone” once decided that more than a hundred thousand Mariupol residents should no longer live. And they were killed. Someone left graves, and therefore the relatives of such victims are considered “lucky”. And some did not even have ashes left.
But! It did not take into account the fact that a nation that kills another is doomed to self-destruction! And our memories and our photos will get a second life! And the city will heal its wounds. And we will take revenge for everyone who died in our theater, in our high-rise buildings and private houses, in the yards near the fire, at wells, in shops, cars, basements and storage rooms…

Someone is fighting…
Someone was captured…
Someone stayed in Ukraine and works on our stage…
Someone went to Russia…
Someone became a collaborator…
I stand and applaud everyone who did not betray the country!

Where do you live?
– On Drama.
– Where to drive?
– On Drama.
– Where will you celebrate the New Year?
– On Drama.
We won’t be together anymore, don’t come, I don’t live…

In my photo archive there are dozens of performances and concerts filmed in our Drama Theater.
This shooting was the last… And this concert was the last in the theater. The war will start in 2 days. The theater will be destroyed in 23 days.

My Drama Theater, my favorite theater! How many performances, plays, concerts, sketches, solemn events I experienced with you… Last happy memories in peace January 9, 2022 children’s New Year’s performance “Puss in Boots”

The theater is a temple…not only for the actors, but also for the audience. Yesterday they finally destroyed OUR TEMPLE…where we spent most of our lives. And innocent people who were hiding from the war died there – they were killed, but they wanted to live…
When we met Sasha, he invited me to the theater – it was my first visit to the Mariupol Drama Theater. It was in December 2002 – exactly 20 years ago. I liked the unique atmosphere of the theater and the performance of the actors so much that from that time we started going to our theater often, we especially liked the premieres, and we went more than once for the performances we liked. The theater cured me of anger, depression, bad mood, after the theater, we always went for a walk in the theater park, and then to the “Mama Mia” cafe for pizza or to the “Van Gogh” on khachapuri and looked from the window at our theater – handsome.. ..Half a life has passed in our theater…
And now he is gone…And there are no people who wanted to live…And our city is gone…Only memories remain…It is very difficult to write, I don’t even know what else to write here…They took our happy life, destroyed, humiliated…
And now I know for sure what happiness is – to live in my hometown, to love, to be happy, to do, to walk, to go to the theater, the Philharmonic, but this happiness was taken away from us, only memories and photos on the phone remained, nothing else, but memories if you don’t take it away – we will never forgive!

Outside the window is a typical German winter:
+10, rain and dampness, Christmas lights and crowds of people drinking Gluhwien and choosing Christmas souvenirs.
On the other side of the window:
+ 38, a runny nose, a depressing feeling of loneliness and a complete lack of pre-holiday mood.
– Don’t be sad, let’s meet in an hour at the drama, let’s drink coffee?
– No, I won’t be able to. Let’s go now somehow in another life…

For me, our theater is like a living organism.
Many of the main events of my life, beautiful, joyful, tragic, sad, are connected with him.
He won’t be there anymore. Neighboring creatures destroyed him twice.
About 10,300 new graves of residents were discovered in Mariupol, Donetsk region, temporarily occupied by Russia, most of them located in the Old Crimea cemetery. This is evidenced by the data of satellite images. This information was commented on by Petro Andryushchenko, adviser to the Mariupol chairman.
“It is, rather, about summing up the period of occupation and the period of the blockade of Mariupol, because these are all the same burial grounds in our Old Crimea, where all those who died, the absolute majority of those who died during the blockade of Mariupol, were reburied. It will certainly increase. Because we are watching, it is growing even now, because the natural death rate in the city is huge and continues to grow, not to decrease.
Therefore, unfortunately, this cemetery will grow taking into account the “cold war” that the Russian occupation “authority” is arranging today. It is scary to think to what size it will grow, and the final stopping point of the growth of this cemetery before the period of deoccupation – we are even afraid to say out loud the numbers that we expect. Because it’s just terrible,” he said.
According to the chairman’s adviser, the death rate in Mariupol has doubled over the past month alone. And today it is 8 times higher than in the pre-war, most difficult “Covid” period, and continues to grow.
“It is clear for what reasons. The cold, the inhumane conditions in which people continue to live, the lack of central heating, the lack of a chance for any kind of heating leads to a natural increase in colds. In addition, a flu epidemic is clearly spreading in the city. Accordingly, with the collapse of the medical system, there is also an increase in mortality.
If it continues to grow at this rate and doubles every month, in fact, given that at least 60% of people who stay in the city are elderly, there are no prerequisites, unfortunately, for it to decrease. That is, all the prerequisites for its growth are in geometric progression,” said Petro Andryushchenko.
That night, the Russians fired at various areas of the front from Vugledar to Liman.
Periodic artillery shelling of Vugledar took place during the day in the Volnovasky direction – no information about the victims was received, the head of the Regional Military Administration of Donetsk region, Pavlo Kyrylenko, said.
In the Donetsk direction, numerous shellings of the Marinsk community, especially Marinka, were recorded.
1 house in Toretsk was damaged on the Horlivskyi direction. Shelling also took place near Rozdolivka, Yakovlivka, and Bakhmutskyi Soledarska hromada.
In the Lysychansk direction, 2 houses were destroyed: in Torsk of the Lyman community and in Pereizno of the Zvaniv community.
On December 23, the Russian military killed two civilians of Donetsk region, five more people were wounded in the region. This was announced by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko.
“On December 23, the Russians killed 2 civilians of Donetsk region — in Kurakhovo. 5 more people were wounded in the region,” he said.
Kyrylenko also added that it is currently impossible to establish the exact number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovas.
As a result of a rocket attack on Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, on December 23, 12 apartment buildings and three private houses were damaged.
This was reported by the Kramatorsk City Council, referring to the city chairman Oleksandr Honcharenko.
“Another act of terror against the civilian population of Kramatorsk – the occupiers hit the city with two rockets. Two educational institutions, 12 apartment buildings and three private houses were damaged,” he said.
On December 23, the Russian occupiers fired at one of the DTEK Energo power plants. One employee of the enterprise was killed, another was injured.
According to the press service of DTEK, this is the 21st enemy attack on the company’s energy facilities.
“The occupiers intensively fired at one of the power plants of DTEK Energo, as a result of which its equipment was damaged and the plant stopped producing electricity,” the message said.
On December 23, Ukrenergo announced that the capacity deficit in Ukraine’s energy system has decreased somewhat after the Russian strikes, but remains significant. Repairs are ongoing around the clock at energy infrastructure facilities.
The Russian Federation is populating the temporarily occupied lands of Donetsk and Luhansk regions bordering the Russian Federation with its citizens.
This was reported by the international intelligence community InformNapalm.
Demand and prices for real estate are growing in temporarily captured territories.
“Russians who come and resettle in Donbas in personal conversations with local residents do not hide the fact that these territories, despite the war and certain risks, are much better adapted for life (gasified, electrified, established water supply – still in the pre-war period, until 2014 year) than Russian towns and villages, where there is still no gas or central sewerage,” the report says.
Currently, it is statistically difficult to estimate the extent of settlement of Donbas by Russians. It is assumed that this is a trend of ethnic substitution controlled by the Kremlin.
The Russians import officials from the Russian Federation to create administrations in the occupied territories of Ukraine. The invaders also created a youth “Movement of the First” with signs of a totalitarian cult on the temporarily captured lands.
