On June 1, 16 people were injured and three were killed as a result of a nighttime missile attack by ten land-based cruise and ballistic missiles from the Iskander complexes by Russian troops on Kyiv. This was announced by the President of the capital Vitaliy Klitschko: “In general, 19 people were injured as a result of the nighttime shelling of the capital. Three people died of them, including 1 child. 16 were injured. 9 people were hospitalized, one of them was in a serious condition. Speakers of the Republic – received an outpatient help. Including 1 child,” Klitschko said.
According to him, three schools, a kindergarten, 6 houses and a police station have been damaged in the Desnyan district.
Law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings due to a closed shelter in the polyclinic of the Desnyan district of Kyiv. There, according to relatives of the victims, people could not get into the premises during the air raid.
