The press service of the Chernihiv City Council reported that the Russians hit a private enterprise on the outskirts of the city.
As a result of the attack, a fire broke out in a garage cooperative. According to preliminary data, seven garages were damaged.
In addition, a Russian drone hit a private residential building on the territory of Chernihiv, causing a fire.
As a result of the strike, 15 private residential buildings were also damaged. Their windows and doors were broken, fences and gates were damaged.
At around 02:30, the head of the Chernihiv city military administration, Dmytro Bryzhinsky, stated that the Russian Federation had attacked one of the city’s enterprises with ballistic missiles and drones.
On the night of January 5, the Ukrainian Air Force twice warned of a high-speed target in the Chernihiv region heading towards the Kyiv region.
