Nine civilians injured in Russian attacks in Kherson region

On August 26, 2026, Russian military personnel attacked settlements in Kherson region using aircraft, artillery, and drones of various types.

As of 17:00, nine civilians were injured, including a SES employee. In Kherson, one person was injured as a result of artillery shelling. Four more civilians, including a SES employee, were injured as a result of drone attacks, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported.

In Belozerka, Russian military personnel attacked a passenger car with a UAV. Three civilians were injured of varying severity as a result of the strike.

In Novovorontsovka, another person was injured as a result of a Russian drone attack.

As a result of the Russian attacks, private and apartment buildings, a healthcare facility, vehicles, and a garage were damaged.

Prosecutors, together with investigators, continue to record the consequences of Russian attacks and document war crimes committed by the armed forces of the Russian Federation.
