
On January 31, nine civilians were injured in the Kherson region, including two children. The Russians shelled settlements with artillery, drones and used remote mining. People were provided with medical assistance on the spot and hospitalized. This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
On this day, the Russian army once again attacked the city and surrounding settlements. The victims received injuries of varying severity, including two women, two men and two children.
In the afternoon, the Russians shelled Kherson with multiple rocket launchers. “Two women and two men received injuries of varying severity,” the prosecutor’s office reported. At about 3:30 p.m., another shelling of the regional center occurred, injuring a local resident. He was hospitalized with leg injuries.
In addition to shelling, the Russians used remote mining. A car carrying two adults and two children hit an explosive device. The people were given assistance on the spot, all survived. Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation into the fact of war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been opened. The investigation is investigating all the circumstances of the shelling and mining.
