Number of casualties from Russian strikes on Kyiv rises to 45

The number of people injured in Russian strikes on Kyiv on September 23 has risen to 45, and two people have died.

Eighteen of the wounded are currently hospitalized in the capital; two of them are in serious condition. On the evening of September 23, it was reported that a non-residential complex in the Pechersk district had been struck again.

Russian forces attacked Kyiv almost continuously throughout the day on September 23. It was reported that the attack resulted in two deaths and 43 injuries.

The Ukrainian Prosecutor’s Office reported that, throughout the day, Russian drones struck a gas station, a business center, an office building, a pharmaceutical facility, a former market building, and premises near the railway station. Fires broke out at the impact sites, and parked cars were damaged.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, Russian forces also launched repeated strikes on the same targets.

The Russian attack has caused internet outages for approximately 100,000 households in Kyiv and the surrounding region.

Russian forces also struck the “Darnitsa” pharmaceutical plant in Kyiv; there were no casualties.
