On Sunday, December 18, the occupiers set fire to the central part of Kherson, resulting in injuries and damage to the city’s infrastructure. Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko announced this on the Telegram channel, Palyanitsa reports.

“Three people were injured. They received shrapnel wounds, 1 wounded in a serious condition. All are provided with medical assistance. Emergency services are working on the spot,” he said.

In addition, according to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the Russian occupiers shelled the territory of the Kherson region 54 times. Peaceful settlements of the region suffered from attacks from artillery, MLRS, mortars, tanks and sniper fire.
