Early in the morning of June 1, on Children’s Day, the Russians sent their cruise missile to the private residential sector in the city of Balaklia, Kharkiv region. 13 people, eight of them children, were injured as a result of hitting residential buildings.
Among the wounded are members of two families: girls aged 4 and 9, six boys aged between three and 17, three women – two aged 35 and one aged 54, and two men aged 32 and 38.
“The Russian army once again confirmed its essence. It is cynical to hit children with a cruise missile on a symbolic date — Children’s Day,” the prosecutor’s office is outraged.
Under the procedural leadership of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has already been initiated into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
