On December 27, the Russian Federation shelled 28 settlements in Sumy region: over 50 strikes

During December 27, Russian troops carried out over 50 attacks on 28 settlements in 14 territorial communities of Sumy region. The greatest intensity of Russian attacks was recorded in Sumy and Shostka districts.

This was reported by the Sumy regional military administration.

According to the regional military administration, the settlements of Sumy, Sadivska, Yunakivska, Myropilska, Khotinska, Bilopolska, Krasnopilska, Glukhivska, Druzhbivska, Esmanska, Shalyginska, Znob-Novgorodska, Novoslobodska and Velykopysarivska communities came under fire from Russian troops.

During the attacks, the Russians used mortars, artillery, FPV drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, guided and unguided aviation munitions.

As a result of the shelling, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed. In particular, a private residential building, non-residential premises and cars were damaged in the Sumy community. A private house was damaged in the Velykypysarivska community, and civilian infrastructure facilities in the Sadivska and Bilopolska communities. Destruction was also recorded in the Krasnopilska community.
