On February 17, 250 explosions from Russian shelling were recorded in the Sumy region, the Russians raided 7 communities

On February 17, the Russians carried out 53 shelling of the border territories and settlements of the Sumy region. 250 explosions were recorded. Khotinskа, Yunakivskа, Bilopolskа, Krasnopilskа, Myropilskа, Velikopysarivskа, Seredino-Budskа communities came under fire.

Khotynska community: mortar attacks (31 explosions), artillery fire (19 explosions) were carried out from the territory of the Russian Federation. As a result of one of the mortar attacks, one man died, another person was injured. Private houses, a farm building were damaged.

Also, an explosive device of the VOG type was dropped from a Russian quadrocopter-type UAV (3 explosions).

Bilopolska community: the Russians fired with barrel artillery (35 explosions) and mortars (11 explosions). There was also tank shelling (8 explosions), RPG and AGS shots.

Velykopysarivskа community: mortar shelling (20 explosions), FPV drone shelling (2 explosions), LNG shelling (6 explosions), artillery shelling (11 explosions) were recorded.

Krasnopilska community: FPV-type kamikaze drones (2 explosions), mortar attacks (28 explosions), artillery fire (24 explosions) were launched from the territory of the Russian Federation. There was also a drop of VOG from the UAV (2 explosions).

Yunakivska community: the Russians dropped 4 mines on the territory of the community. Shelling from self-propelled guns (21 explosions) was also recorded.

Seredino-Budskа community: the Russians fired mortars (12 explosions).

Myropolska community: from the territory of the Russian Federation, an anti-aircraft fire was fired (1 explosion).

Based on these facts, investigators opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Violation of the Laws and Customs of War”, reported the police of the Sumy region.
