On February 22, while shelling the Sumy region, the Russians wounded four civilians in the region. This was reported by the Sumy regional military administration.

The Krasnopil community suffered the most hits and injuries. Three civilians were injured in the ️Krasnopil community, which suffered the most intense blow. The Russians attacked it with FPV drones (10 explosions), artillery (15 explosions), MLRS (36 explosions), mortars (3 explosions) and grenades from UAVs (20 explosions). The shelling damaged two private houses.

Another civilian was injured in the ️Khotin community. Here, an attack by FPV drones (10 explosions), the launch of KABs (3 explosions), the dropping of grenades from UAVs (4 explosions), tank shelling (3 explosions), artillery shelling (11 explosions) were recorded.

In the Bilopil community, two private residential buildings and a car were damaged as a result of shelling. The Russians dropped 11 mines and seven grenades from UAVs on the territory of the community, and also attacked it with an FPV drone.

In the Popivska community, the only UAV attack resulted in damage to non-residential premises.

In total, during February 22, as of 9:00 p.m., the Russians shelled the Sumy region 112 times. 241 explosions were recorded here. 13 communities in the Sumy region were shelled.
