“We work here on two fronts, so to speak. The first front – during shelling, we must restore power supply to our critical infrastructure as quickly as possible: to the heating network, to sewage treatment plants and other objects. The second front is to stabilize the electricity supply for the population, I am not talking about urban electric transport, the subway, etc. Well, still, we must continue the restoration of electricity supply in the de-occupied territories, which is actually a priority task for us at the moment,” explains the head of the Kharkiv Region.
According to Oleg Synegubov, when shelling is heard, emergency shutdowns are used in the region. They do this even if the networks have not suffered damage, as a preventive measure.
“Because overvoltage can happen and what the enemy shelling did not do, the system can do with itself. According to Oleg Sinegubov, the Russian invaders are currently not carrying out large-scale attacks or offensive actions, but are checking the fighting capacity of the Ukrainian military and how the Armed Forces are standing in their positions.
