In the Donetsk region, Russian troops attacked Toretsk this morning, 1 person was killed and 1 wounded, the city came under attack today around 10 am, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin, said on Monday.
The Russians hit a private house – a 63-year-old woman was killed and a 64-year-old man was wounded. The injured person was sent to the nearest hospital.
“Russian attacks on frontline cities do not stop for a single day. So I urge everyone: do not risk your life and health! Evacuate!” – emphasized the head of the regional military administration.
Also day before, on June 23, the Russians hit a nine-story building in Toretsk
The Russian army committed another war crime by shelling a residential building in Toretsk, Donetsk region. One of the entrances was partially destroyed. This was reported in the press service of the State Emergency Service on June 24.
Rescuers rescued a woman who was injured as a result of shelling
The State Service for Emergency Situations says that the shelling was carried out by the Russian occupiers the day before, on June 23.
“The Russians struck the city of Toretsk, targeting a nine-story building. One of the entrances was partially destroyed,” the message reads.
The rescuers note that a woman born in 1954 was in one of the apartments on the second floor.
“During the shelling, she was thrown to the floor and covered with furniture and things, she was injured. The victim was given first aid and transported to a medical facility in Kostyantynivka,” the State Emergency Service added.
The rescue service also urges people living in the midst of hostilities to evacuate.
