As a result of shelling by Russian forces in the territory of the Donetsk region on March 14, six civilians were injured. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin.
“On March 14, the Russians wounded 6 residents of the Donetsk region: 2 in Kostyantynivka and Myrnograd, 1 in Siversk and Dovha Balka,” the head of the region noted.
According to official data from the regional military administration, since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, 3,106 civilians have been killed in the Donetsk region. Another 6,828 people have been injured to varying degrees as a result of enemy attacks.
Vadim Filashkin emphasized that the statistics of victims of Russian aggression in the Donetsk region do not take into account the losses among the civilian population in temporarily occupied Mariupol and Volnovakha, where it is currently impossible to establish the exact number of dead and wounded.
Russian troops continue systematic shelling of settlements in the Ukrainian-controlled part of the Donetsk region, striking civilian infrastructure and residential areas.
