An air alert continues in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In total, during March 15, air alerts in the region as of 22:30 lasted for more than 14 hours. Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Samar, Pavlohrad, Synelnykovo, Zhovti Vody, Kamianske – these and other cities warned of the danger by monitoring. As of 21:50, up to 10 drones were counted over the region.
In the evening, the defenders shot down 3 drones – the head of the regional military administration reported.
According to the results of the day, the most difficult day turned out to be for the Nikopol region. A 70-year-old woman died there in the afternoon as a result of artillery shelling. A 57-year-old resident, girls 11 and 3 years old were also injured.
Under the procedural leadership of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched in criminal proceedings on the fact of committing a war crime that caused the death of a person – Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. During the day, the Nikopol, Marhanetska, Chervonogryhorivska, Pokrovska and Myrivska communities suffered in the region.
A religious institution, 5 private residential buildings, 2 outbuildings, 15 solar panels, a fence, and power lines were damaged. The information is still being clarified. According to the head of the regional military administration, stable water supply has been restored in Synelnyky, Pavlohrad, Pershotravensk and Ternivka. The disruptions were caused by an enemy attack.
In Kryvyi Rih, the elimination of the consequences of a rocket attack is ongoing. It was estimated that over 700 windows were broken, 18 apartment buildings, 10 private houses, a “High-speed Tram” station, 4 educational institutions, 6 business and communication facilities of “Heating Network” were damaged. The headquarters are accepting applications for material assistance from the city – over 215 applications have already been accepted. Almost 6,000 sq. m. of film, over 1,000 OSB boards, slats, tarpaulin, nails, etc. have already been issued to people.
