On March 4, Sumy eliminated the consequences of a night attack on a children’s clinic

On March 4, at approximately 1:00, a Geran-2 UAV hit the building of the consultative and diagnostic department of the children’s clinical hospital on Khvorostyanka Street. There was no explosion, but a fire broke out. The State Emergency Service forces localized the fire and later extinguished it.

The four-story building of the consultative and diagnostic department of the children’s clinical hospital and the seven-story building of the clinical hospital were damaged. Six broken windows and a damaged wall were found at the site of the impact.

41 people and nine pieces of equipment were used to overcome the consequences of the Russian attack. In addition to rescuers, representatives of the National Police, local government, municipal enterprises and volunteers of the public association “Dobrobat” worked.

The work was coordinated by the first deputy mayor Artem Kuznetsov.

During the day, construction debris resulting from the destruction of the wall was removed and four window openings were closed, the city council reported.
