On New Year’s Eve, the enemies shelled the communities of Ochakivsk and Kutsurubsk

On December 31, at 11:34 p.m., and today, January 1, at 04:10 a.m., the enemy struck the port area and the settlement of Ochakivska hromada, and at 04:50 a settlement of Kutsurubska hromada came under enemy fire.

Residential and multi-storey buildings, an enterprise were partially destroyed and damaged in Ochakivska community, four fires were recorded. In addition, an enemy projectile hit the building of the fire station.

In the subdivision, windows were blown out, the roof of the building was destroyed, and the covering of the garage was blown out. The personnel was saved by the fact that the guard on duty extinguished the fire in the residential sector in another part of the city, – the press service of the main department of the State Emergency Service in the Mykolaiv region says in a statement.

A residential building was damaged in the Kutsurub community. No one was injured among the people.

On December 31, at 2:00 p.m., Mykolaiv came under enemy rocket fire. Two residential buildings were destroyed, another 12 residential buildings and three educational institutions were damaged. In addition, there was a fire on the territory of the garage cooperative.

About 20 garages were damaged. Seven people were injured as a result of the shelling.  According to the Armed Forces, the city was hit by six Iskander missiles.

According to the information of the operational command “South”, on December 31, from 22:00 to 23:30, 7 enemy kamikaze drones “Shahed-136” were destroyed by the forces and means of air defense over the Mykolaiv region.

On December 31, the enemy carried out 31 missile and 12 air strikes on Ukraine and carried out more than 70 attacks from multiple rocket launchers. In addition, the Russians launched 13 kamikaze drones.

Russian occupiers attacked with Iranian drones on New Year’s Eve. A total of 45 attack UAVs were destroyed by air defense forces.

During the past day and the morning of January 1, as a result of Russian attacks, 50 people were injured and 2 people died. Enemies shelled Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Khmelnytskyi, Zaporizhzhya, and Kharkiv regions, as well as Kyiv.

In Kherson, more than 700 windows were broken, the building of the regional children’s hospital was damaged and two children were wounded as a result of shelling. In addition, as a result of hitting a critical infrastructure object, the regional center and nearby settlements were cut off on New Year’s Eve.

Yesterday, the Russian occupiers hit the residential area of ​​Mykolaiv with six Iskander missiles.

According to him, two residential buildings were completely destroyed, 12 more residential buildings and three educational institutions were damaged.

“Mykolaiv was fired upon by 6 Iskander-type missiles, according to the Armed Forces. You have to be so wooden to attack the residential sector with such rockets. There was also a fire on the territory of the garage cooperative. About 20 garages were damaged. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. As a result of the shelling, seven people were injured,” Kim said.

“In the Pervomaisky, Bashtansky and Voznesensky districts, the day and night passed relatively calmly,” the official noted.

Kim said that according to the information of the Southern Air Command, on December 31, between 22:00 and 23:30, seven enemy Shahed-136 kamikaze drones were destroyed by air defense forces and means over Mykolayiv Oblast.

“According to the information of the “Southern” air command, yesterday, December 31, from 22:00 to 23:30, air defense forces and means destroyed seven Shahed-136 enemy kamikaze drones over the Mykolayiv region,” Kim said.

On December 31, Kim reported that six people were wounded in Mykolaiv. There was a fire at the place of arrival, he noted. Oleksandr Sienkovych, the chairman of the city, said that as a result of the attack, two houses were completely destroyed and another 13 were damaged: windows, doors and roofs were broken.

On the afternoon of December 31, an air alert was announced throughout Ukraine – the Russians launched missiles. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, reported that Russia fired more than 20 missiles at Ukraine, 12 of which were shot down. Hits were recorded in several regions, and there are casualties.

In the evening of December 31, Kim also reported an attack using kamikaze drones. Kyiv was the main target of the attack; in total, on New Year’s Eve, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 45 Shahed-131\136 kamikaze drones.

On the morning of January 1, the occupiers dealt another blow to Mykolaiv Oblast. The communities of Kutsurub and Ochakiv experienced the greatest destruction.
