On New Year’s Eve, the Russians attacked Zaporizhzhia

The Russians are not giving Zaporizhzhia residents peace on the eve of the holiday. At 10:42 on December 31, an air raid alert was declared throughout the Zaporizhzhia region, as reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Ivan Fedorov.

At 12:19, Ivan Fedorov reported explosions in the Zaporizhzhia region. At 13:06, the explosion heard by Zaporizhzhia residents was the result of an attack by Russian military personnel on an industrial infrastructure facility. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

At 14:01 – several fires broke out as a result of the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia. Previously, no casualties.

At 14:17, Secretary of the Zaporizhzhia City Council Regina Kharchenko reported that all necessary services and units were already at the locations.

At 15:46, Ivan Fedorov said that the Russians attacked three districts of Zaporizhzhia. Three high-rise buildings and three private houses, as well as non-residential premises, were damaged. In particular, windows were broken, balconies, roofs, and facades were damaged.
