On November 25, the Russian troops used 19 guided bombs and 11 drones against residents of the Kharkiv region, seven of which were shot down by air defense forces.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov.
According to Synegubov, the targets were civilians and critical infrastructure. Also on November 25, the Russian army struck Kharkiv with one S-400 missile. As a result of the hit in the city center, 25 people were injured. Eight of them continue to be treated in hospital.
One of the wounded, Yulia Kolennyk, who works as a cleaner at the Kharkiv Administrative Services Center in the Kyiv District, says that during the strike she had just finished wet cleaning the premises and went outside. As a result of the shelling, the woman received a shrapnel wound to her leg and a burn.
Also, one of the victims, the administrator of the administrative services center of the Kyiv district, Tetyana Trofimova, was at her workplace during the strike.
“I didn’t understand what had happened. I opened my eyes – I was covered in glass, blood was everywhere. Not understanding myself, I got up, went to look for the phone, blood was dripping everywhere,” says Tetyana.
According to Synegubov, almost 400 windows were broken as a result of the shelling. They plan to restore them in the near future.
