The number of shelling of the Kupyansk community of the Kharkiv region has decreased over the past two days, but the situation may change in a matter of minutes or hours.
Andrii Kanashevich, the head of the Kupyansk District State Administration, said about this on October 29: “The last two days, it may sound unusual, have passed calmly, there was almost no shelling. The only thing is that this morning the settlement of Podola was already shelled, and literally an hour ago the occupiers shelled the city of Kupyansk with artillery”.
According to Kanashevich, houses were damaged in Kupyansk as a result of the attack, and there were no dead or injured citizens.
“The situation in principle remains tense, we understand that the absence of shelling can be deceptive, and the situation can change literally in a few minutes or hours. We understand that the Russians are nearby, literally 8 km away, and we see and understand his intentions, so we do not let’s calm down.”
