On September 3, the Russian army carried out 57 shellings of the Kherson region.

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, announced this.

“Over the past day, the enemy launched 57 attacks, firing 271 shells from mortars, artillery, Grads, UAVs and aviation. The enemy fired 10 shells at the city of Kherson, Prokudin noted.

According to him, the Russian military targeted the residential quarters of settlements, the building of a poultry farm in the Kherson district, the administrative building in the Beryslav district, the buildings of an educational institution and a joint-stock company in Kherson.

On the night of August 4, the enemy attacked the south of Odesa region. As a result, 17 Russian drones were shot down, but there were also hits.

This was reported by Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration and the Southern Defense Forces. As noted, Russian troops attacked the south of Odesa region with attack drones for 3.5 hours. A massive night attack by “Shahed-136” strike drones was directed at the civil infrastructure of the Danube.

“17 drones were shot down by our air defense forces. But, unfortunately, there are also hits. In several settlements of the Izmail region, warehouses and production buildings, agricultural machinery and equipment of industrial enterprises were damaged,” the message says.

In the Kherson region, a child was injured due to shelling

Russian troops shelled the village of Sonyachne of the Kherson community. An 11-year-old boy was injured during the attack.

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, reports this.

“On August 3, an 11-year-old boy was hit by an enemy attack in Sonyachne village of the Kherson community. He was diagnosed with a mine-explosive injury, as well as leg injuries,” he said.

According to him, the victim was taken to the hospital in a moderate condition.

“Medics are doing everything possible to save children’s lives and health,” added the head of the Regional Military Administration.

Shelling of the Kherson region

Part of the Kherson region remains occupied by Russian troops since February 2022. In this connection, Kherson and settlements located on the front line are constantly under fire.

On September 3, Russian troops once again shelled the Kherson region. This time they hit residential buildings in Bilozerka. A family came under fire – the 35-year-old head of the family was killed, and his 36-year-old wife and 9-year-old daughter were wounded.
