On September 9, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv Region, striking civilian targets with nine guided aerial bombs and launching two FPV drones. As a result of these actions, civilians were injured and buildings, vehicles were damaged, and fires broke out in large areas.
This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Synegubov.
On the night of September 10, in the urban-type village of Peresichne, Kharkiv district, as a result of shelling at 01:01, grass on an area of 800 square meters caught fire. In the evening, September 9, around 18:10, in the village of Novooleksandrivka, Vovchansk community, grass and reeds caught fire due to shelling on an area of 2.5 hectares. In Kupiansk, Kupianska hromada, at 6:05 p.m., grass, reeds, and remnants of household materials on an area of 1 hectare burned from shelling, and a little earlier, at 4:10 p.m., a controlled aerial bomb caused a fire in three shops in the same city. Also at 16:10 in the village of Zakharivka, Chuguyiv district, an FPV drone damaged a residential building, as a result of which a 57-year-old man was injured.
In the village of Velyki Prohody, Kharkiv district, at 1:05 p.m., a drone damaged an excavator, injuring a 52-year-old man, at the same time, in the village of Novoosynove, a farm building was on fire due to shelling. In the village of Perovske, Zolochiv community, at 11:20 a mortar attack damaged a private house and farm buildings. The morning shelling also caused fires: grass and reeds burned on an area of 2.5 hectares at 08:23 in the village of Zagryzove, Borivska hromada, and on an area of 1 hectare in the village of Osynove, Kupyanska hromada, at 08:20. In addition, at 08:00 in Kupyansk, two men aged 71 and 49 were injured as a result of a drone strike on a car.
