On the afternoon of June 1, the Russians shelled the Kherson region

On June 1, Russian troops shelled Kherson and the region, as a result of which 15 people received injuries of varying degrees of severity.

This is reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office.

As noted in the prosecutor’s office, under the procedural leadership of the Kherson and Beryslav District Prosecutor’s Offices, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated in criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

In the afternoon, the Russian military struck the cities and villages of the Kherson region – a 70-year-old man was killed and at least three others were injured.

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, and the Novokakhov city military administration reported this: “Russian aviation attacked a bread factory in Berislav. Two “arrivals” of guided air bombs were recorded in the city. Two men, 57 and 20 years old, were slightly injured as a result of the enemy strike.

The Russian army shelled the city with mortars, as a result of which a local resident was injured. An ambulance is on its way to help her.

Prokudin also reported on the shelling of the village of Kozatske of the Novokakhovsk community.

According to the information of the Novokakhovska city military administration, the shelling took place around 11:00 a.m.: the Russians dropped 4 anti-aircraft missiles, 3 of them – on Kozatsk of the Novokakhovska community – and hit the peaceful village with three guided aerial bombs. Due to the Russian strikes, residential buildings were damaged and 1 – on Nova Kakhovka. There are numerous destructions and victims.

One of the bombs fell in the area of ​​secondary school No. 3 of the Novokakhov city council. At least 3 private houses were destroyed.

As noted by the Novokakhovsk city military administration, a 70-year-old man was killed as a result of the attack, and there are other victims. Prokudin does not report any casualties.

The Russians dropped aerial bombs on the village of Odradokamyanka of the Tyagin community of the Kherson region. As a result of the attack, the music school was destroyed.
