At least 30 houses were damaged in the Zolochiv community.
On August 11, around 8:00 a.m., Russian troops shelled the village of Oleksandrivka, Zolochiv community, Bogoduhiv district.
According to preliminary data from the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the Russian army struck the village with the Grad anti-aircraft missile system. As a result of the strikes, a private house and farm buildings were destroyed, an agricultural enterprise and power grids were damaged.
The 77-year-old owner of the destroyed house was injured.
“During the shelling, he was in the house, hid behind the walls and remained alive. The pensioner has an acute reaction to stress,” said Viktor Kovalenko, head of the Zolochiv settlement military administration.
According to the head of the Department of Civil Protection of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Ivan Sokol, at least 30 private houses were damaged in the Zolochiv community as of this morning.
“Currently, houses are preserved with the help of volunteer organizations and special services. I think that by morning we will preserve everything that can be conserved,” said Sokol. The house of children’s and youth creativity in the village of Zolochiv, which was hit by a rocket attack by the Russians at 11:55 p.m., has been partially destroyed, the director of the department stated. According to the prosecutor’s office, the Russian attack was carried out by missiles of the “X-35” type.
