On the night of August 9, Russians terrorized the Zhytomyr region: there is destruction and casualties

On August 9, Russian troops carried out another night shelling of the territory of the Zhytomyr region, striking civilian infrastructure. Residential buildings and a private enterprise were under Russian fire.

The strike fell on civilian infrastructure facilities, which led to significant destruction. In particular, a direct hit was recorded on a private residential building, as well as damage to a private enterprise that operates thanks to German investments.

In addition, fragments of downed targets fell on other residential and commercial buildings in the region.

Three people were injured as a result of Russian actions. One of the victims had to be urgently hospitalized to a medical facility with burns. Two more residents suffered an acute stress reaction, their condition is being monitored by doctors.

All specialized services are currently deployed at the sites of hits and falling debris. Specialists are eliminating the consequences of the night shelling, conducting a detailed survey of the affected areas and documenting the material damage.

As of 11 am, all fires have been extinguished. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service are working on the ground.
