
During the night of December 28, the Dnipropetrovsk region was shelled by Russian troops, residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged, there were no deaths or injuries.

At night, Russian troops continued shelling of settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The main strikes were directed at the Nikopol district.
According to local authorities, the district center was hit by heavy artillery. As a result of the shelling, five apartment buildings and one educational institution were damaged. Municipal services are working on the site, assessing the damage and ensuring the restoration of the damaged infrastructure.
The Vasylkiv community of the Synelnyky district was also attacked. The Russians used drones here. Two private homes and a farm were damaged. In addition, the strike hit a gas pipeline, which will require additional inspections and repairs.
According to representatives of the Air Command, during the night, air defense forces shot down 5 drones that crossed the airspace of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Fortunately, there were no deaths or injuries among the civilian population.
