On the night of February 23, during a drone attack, the Russians killed at least one person in Odesa. This was reported by the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine.

The Russians attacked Odesa with attack drones of the Shahed-131/136 type. At the same time, from tactical and strategic aviation planes, from the waters of the Black Sea, the Russians directed Kh-31P and Kh-22 missiles into the region. Missiles lost combat capability in the air. Air defense units shot down 9 kamikaze drones.

One of the affected drones over the sea fell on the building of the enterprise in the coastal zone of Odessa and caused destruction and fire. The guard was freed from the damaged building, she was not injured.

During the elimination of the fire, the rescuers discovered the body of one deceased. According to preliminary information, there could still be people inside. Firefighting and search and rescue operations are ongoing. On the night of February 23, as a result of a Russian attack by drones, a fire broke out at a civil infrastructure facility in Odesa.
