On the night of January 26, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv: more than 10 houses were damaged

On the night of January 26, the Russian military once again attacked Kharkiv with strike drones, said Chairman Igor Terekhov.

“One of the strikes fell on a private house in the Osnovyansky district of the city,” the report says.

Terekhov specified that “according to preliminary information, windows, roof and part of the building were damaged. At the same time, there is no information about casualties.”

The chairman also added that “the relevant services are already working on the spot. In particular, they are examining the damage and providing the necessary assistance.”

According to the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Synegubov, as a result of the night strike of “Shaheda” at about 04:43 in the Osnovyansky district, the windows and roofs of 12 private houses were damaged.

“There are no casualties,” stated Synegubov.

The head of the regional military administration also showed photos of the consequences of a drone strike on several districts of Kharkiv on January 25.

“On January 25, the Russians launched strikes on Kharkiv with drones of the Molniya and Shahed types. These are the Shevchenkivskyi, Kyivskyi, Kholodnohirskyi, Osnovyanskyi districts of the city,” said Sinegubov.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – strike UAVs, missiles, guided aerial bombs, MLRS. At the same time, the Russian troops often carry out repeated strikes when rescuers and medics are working on the spot.

The Russian leadership denies that the Russian army, during a full-scale war, is carrying out targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of Ukrainian cities and villages, killing civilians and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are targeted.
