One dead in ballistic missile attack on Kyiv. The Russians attacked the capital on the night of April 6.
This was stated by the spokesman for the Kyiv City Military Administration, Yevgeny Ievlev: “To my great regret, there is updated information about one dead person,” Ievlev said.
In addition, there are three injured people.
“Preliminarily, this is a trauma resulting from the action of the blast wave, including shrapnel wounds from glass,” he added.
It is currently known that all the injured are men of different ages, and two of them are hospitalized.
As Chairman Vitaliy Klitschko later added, the body of the man who died as a result of the Russian attack was found in the Darnytskyi district.
“He was on the street, near the epicenter of the explosion. The man’s identity is being established,” he added.
At around 5:00 on April 6, an air alert was declared in most regions of Ukraine due to the threat of ballistic missile strikes.

After the shelling in Kyiv due to the Russian missile attack, fires were recorded in several districts. It became known about three victims in Kyiv. In particular, people were injured in the Darnytskyi district.
As a result of the Russian ballistic missile attack, there is damage in the Darnytskyi, Obolonskyi, Solomyanskyi districts of Kyiv.
Darnytskyi district: a fire in a non-residential building; falling debris and the destruction of a building with a fire in another location in the district were also recorded. There are damaged and destroyed cars. Rescuers extinguished the fire.
Obolonskyi district: a fire in a furniture workshop on a significant area (1,500 sq m). Rescuers are working at the scene; 3,4,5 floors of the business center were partially destroyed.
Solomyanskyі district: a fire was recorded in an open area, with separate outbreaks, due to falling debris. As a result of the Russian attack, the facade of a warehouse building caught fire. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire.
Rescuers, explosives technicians, police, and other services continue to work at the scene of the damage.
