
In the Kherson region, the police are recording the consequences of Russian attacks on residential buildings, medical and educational institutions. The building of one of the oldest educational institutions in Kherson was damaged again.
As reported in the press service of the department, the armed attacks of the Russian army against the civilian population and infrastructure facilities on the right bank of the Kherson Region are not abating. During the day, Russian troops carried out 84 shellings and fired 435 projectiles at residential quarters of the Kherson and Beryslav districts. They were fired from multiple rocket launchers, artillery, mortars, tanks and unmanned aerial vehicles.
The message states that Tyaginka, Sadove, Stanislav, Ivanivka, Antonivka, Zymivnyk, Komyshany and Kherson were under fire from the Russians. In these settlements, the police recorded damage to 12 objects, including private and high-rise buildings, medical and educational institutions.
Also in Ivanivka, a 52-year-old woman received a mine-explosive injury and a shrapnel wound on her leg in the territory of her own home as a result of Russian artillery shelling.
It is also reported that in Kherson all areas of the city were under fire from Russian troops. In the center, Russian shells damaged residential buildings located along the coastline. The building of one of the oldest educational institutions of the city, which previously suffered from Russian attacks on several occasions and was almost completely burned down, was damaged again. In the Dnipro district, a shell hit an apartment during Russian artillery shelling. A 37-year-old woman was injured, she was diagnosed with a brain injury and shrapnel wounds.
Investigative and operational teams of the police, explosives experts and forensic experts worked at the sites of shelling. The police conducted an inspection of the places of events, collected material evidence and recorded the consequences of the strikes by the Russian troops of the Russian Federation.
Over the past day, the police responded to 151 statements and reports from citizens about criminal offenses and other events. Five criminal proceedings were opened under Art. 438 “Violation of the Laws and Customs of War” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On December 10, Russian troops carried out 84 shellings, firing 435 shells from mortars, artillery, “Grads”, tanks, UAVs and aircraft on the right-bank part of the Kherson region.
