On September 13, Russian troops shelled the territory of Sumy region. 55 settlements came under fire.

One civilian was injured as a result of the attacks. More than ten private houses, vehicles, an apartment building, and premises of local enterprises were damaged.

Investigative and operational groups of the police and explosives technicians worked on the ground. Law enforcement officers documented the consequences of the shelling in order to further bring the perpetrators to justice. Criminal proceedings have been initiated on all facts.
