On August 21, the Russian army attacked settlements in the Kherson region several times. As a result of enemy shelling, one person was killed and 18 others were injured.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
The Russian army used artillery and UAVs to strike the Kherson region.
Consequences of the shelling of the Kherson region
Kherson: the Russian army struck the city several times. The Russians attacked a residential area, which damaged about a dozen high-rise buildings. Also, as a result of the strikes on the city, a man was killed and 17 more people were injured (including three police officers). During the enemy shelling, there were people on the streets and in their homes.
Molodizhne: Russians attacked near the village. In order to carry out the strike, the invaders dropped explosives from a drone. The Russian army hit an ambulance near it. A paramedic was injured as a result of the Russian attack.
As a result of the Russian strikes, residential buildings, a shop, a financial institution, a medical facility, official and private vehicles were damaged.
“Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson region prosecutor’s office, pre-trial investigations into the facts of war crimes (Parts 1, 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) have been launched,” the prosecutor’s office emphasized.
