
One person was killed and nine others were wounded in the Kherson region over the course of the day due to Russian aggression.
According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, as of 5:30 p.m. on September 16, one fatality and nine injuries resulting from Russian aggression had been recorded.
Prosecutor’s office data indicates that around 6:00 a.m., Russian forces dropped an explosive device from a drone in Kherson, killing a 68-year-old man who was outdoors at the time.
Additionally, two people were injured by Russian drones in each of the settlements of Komyshany and Zelenivka, while another five were injured in Kherson.
The prosecutor’s office added that Russian shelling damaged private homes, apartment buildings, administrative buildings, a hospital, a shop, garages, and vehicles.
It is reported that throughout September 16, Russian troops attacked settlements in the region using tube artillery and various types of drones.
Kherson regional prosecutors have initiated a pre-trial investigation into the commission of war crimes (Parts 1 and 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
