At least one person was killed and two were wounded as a result of Russian shelling of Konstantinovka on April 7, the chairman of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Vadim Filashkin reported.
“Among the wounded is a 9-year-old girl who received a shrapnel wound at her place of residence. We had previously evacuated the child and her family to a safer region, but in March the family returned to Konstantinovka,” Filashkin wrote.
According to him, eight private houses, three administrative buildings, a store and a power line were damaged in the city.
Meanwhile, the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office clarified that Russian troops carried out two airstrikes on Konstantinovka at 10:30 on April 7, as a result of which a woman was wounded and diagnosed with a mine-explosive injury, a fracture and abrasions.
“Less than an hour later, the private sector was in the sights of the army of the aggressor state. As a result of the shelling, an 83-year-old pensioner died from injuries incompatible with life. Preliminary, the enemy used a FAB-250. Two hours later, the Russians covered the city with fire from barrel artillery. A 9-year-old girl received a mine-explosive injury, shrapnel wound and a broken leg,” the prosecutor’s office noted.
