Kharkiv region is under fire again, with Kupyanska community suffering the most. Over 30 people were injured here in April, and the city authorities recorded over 200 strikes.
In just two days – April 28 and 29 – at least two men were injured in attacks in the Kupyanska community. One of them is in serious condition.
About 2,800 people still live in the community. The authorities are asking people to evacuate, but many are staying home despite the danger.
One case was when a KAB-500 shell failed to explode and fell near houses where people still live.
On April 28, there were about ten strikes in Kupyansk itself. MLRS, artillery, and “Hurricane” were used. One shell hit a private sector and garages. Two were injured, one of them in serious condition.
There was also an airstrike on Kivsharivka, located in the Kupyanska community. The shell hit a nine-story building. The building was partially destroyed and burned down. There were no injuries – many people went to private homes.
