Over 2,400 square meters of debris were recorded in Zaporizhzhia after Russian shelling

Specialists of the State Environmental Inspectorate of the Southern District conducted an on-site inspection of the territories in the Zavodskyі and Shevchenkivskyі districts, which suffered the greatest destruction as a result of UAV attacks. This was reported by the press service of the environmental inspectorate.

According to the results of the inspection, it was established that the area of ​​debris and construction waste exceeds 2,400 square meters. Inspectors also took soil samples for laboratory tests.

Currently, specialists have begun the procedure for determining the extent of damage caused to the environment. All materials, after processing, will be transferred to law enforcement agencies and the operational headquarters of the State Ecological Inspectorate of Ukraine for further response.
