
In Kharkiv, the number of injured people as a result of a massive night attack by Russian strike drones has exceeded 30 people. As of the morning of January 24, 31 people were injured, including two children – a 12-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl. This was reported by the regional prosecutor’s office.
Russian drones attacked the Industrial and Nemyshlyansky districts of the city. As a result of hits and falling debris, apartment and private residential buildings, a dormitory, as well as two medical institutions were damaged. Numerous fires broke out, which rescuers extinguished during the night.
The injured received injuries of varying severity, some of them were hospitalized. Medics are providing the necessary assistance, several people are in moderate condition.
Investigators have opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of the laws and customs of war. Law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of the attack and collecting evidence of another war crime by Russia against the civilian population.
Earlier, 19 victims were reported, but with the arrival of new data, the number of injured has increased. Information on the scale of destruction and the condition of the victims is being clarified.
