Over 310 square meters of contaminated territory: environmentalists spoke about the consequences of strikes on two districts of Zaporizhzhia

Specialists of the environmental inspection conducted an inspection of five territories in the Kommunarskyі and Shevchenkivskyі districts of Zaporizhzhia, which were destroyed as a result of a drone attack on the night of March 24.

This was reported by the State Environmental Inspection of the Southern District.

During the inspection, it was found that the total area of ​​soil contamination and land damage by debris and construction waste exceeds 310 square meters.

To determine the level of contamination and assess the environmental consequences, inspectors took soil samples for further laboratory tests.

All collected materials, including photographic evidence of the effects of the attack and the results of the examination, will be sent to law enforcement agencies and the Operational Headquarters of the State Ecological Inspectorate of Ukraine.

We will remind you that on the night of March 24, the Russians attacked Zaporizhzhia and the region with five “shaheeds”. A woman was injured as a result of the enemy attack. Medics provided her with assistance on the spot, but she refused hospitalization.
