In the Zaporizhzhia region, the Russian military shelled civilian infrastructure in the area of 18 settlements over the past day.

“According to the report of the main administration of the national police in the Zaporizhia region, during the past day, the occupiers fired at civilian infrastructure in the area of the settlements of Zaporizhzhia, Druzhelyubivka, Malynyvka, Novodanilivka, Novodarivka, Stepove, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Gulyaipole, Komyshuvakha, Olgivske, Novoandriivka, Shcherbaki, Biloghirya, Chervone, Zaliznychne, Mali Shcherbaki, Kamianske, Stepnohirsk. 15 reports were received about the destruction of houses (apartments) of citizens and infrastructure facilities as a result of shelling by Russian military personnel,” the message reads.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the situation has not undergone significant changes over the past day. The enemy concentrates its main efforts on holding the occupied borders.
Civilians were not evacuated from the temporarily occupied territories during the past day.
Russian terrorists continue to shell peaceful settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. On Thursday, February 9, they attacked the Komyshuva community five times.

“The long-suffering Komyshuva community spent this day under heavy shelling. At this hour, a peaceful settlement has been hit for the fifth time,” the press service of the Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration reports.
It is noted that about 10 private houses were damaged as a result of enemy shelling. One house was completely destroyed. Previously, there were no human casualties.

Therefore, the Russians, trying to take full control of the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, continue to focus their main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Kupyan, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiiv and Novopavliv directions.
During the day, the enemy launched 41 air strikes and three missile strikes, two of which hit the civilian infrastructure of the city of Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. It also carried out 32 attacks from rocket salvo systems, in particular on the civil infrastructure of Donetsk and Kherson regions.
The threat of further Russian air and missile strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
In the Volyn, Polis, Siver and Slobozhan areas, the situation is unchanged, no signs of the formation of offensive groups have been detected. During the day, the Russian army shelled 17 settlements in the Donetsk region, as a result of which 27 civilian objects were destroyed and damaged, and civilians were also killed and wounded.

On the night of February 9, Russian troops shelled the Nikopol district in the Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of the criminal actions of the occupiers, one person died.
