Part of Sumy region left without electricity due to Russian strikes

On February 26, as a result of another Russian attack on the territory of Sumy region, an emergency power outage occurred.

The joint-stock company “Sumyoblenergo” emphasized that specialists are already working on eliminating the consequences and restoring power supply to restore light to the homes of residents of the region.

“Due to the military aggression of the Russian Federation, we have power outages for consumers in Sumy region outside the hourly outage schedules (in part of the city of Sumy and Sumy district). Power engineers are working to restore power supply”, the message says.

As previously noted by the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Grigorov, damage to infrastructure facilities was recorded in Sumy as a result of the attack by Russian strike drones.

According to him, three drones attacked the territory of the Sumy community. The hits occurred in the Kovpakiv district of the city, not far from each other. Civilian infrastructure was hit. Previously, there were no casualties.
