Pensioner dies in Sumy region as a result of Russian shelling

On the afternoon of January 6, the body of a 61-year-old pensioner was found in the Myropil community of Sumy region.

This was reported by the Sumy region prosecutor’s office.

According to preliminary data, she died as a result of Russian shelling. Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement officers, are establishing the circumstances of the incident.

A pre-trial investigation is underway into the fact of committing war crimes that caused the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
