
On the night of October 26, Russian troops struck Kyiv with kamikaze drones for the second time in a day. The attack caused destruction and fires in several areas of the city. This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
In the Desnyansky district, one of the drones hit a nine-story residential building. A fire broke out after the strike. Rescuers managed to evacuate 13 residents from the upper floors.
At another address, a drone hit a sixteen-story building. The impact shattered windows from the first to ninth floors. Debris also damaged other buildings.
Another drone hit a multi-story building in the Obolonskyi district. No fires were recorded at this location.
In total, three people died as a result of the night shelling. This was reported by the State Emergency Service. 33 people were injured, including seven children. All victims are receiving medical assistance.
More than 100 rescuers and more than 20 units of special equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences of the attack. Clearing and assisting residents are ongoing.
